We had such a wonderful experience at Bru Guesthouse! the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay memorable. the cottage was spacious and had beautiful views of the mountains and nearby waterfalls. We especially appreciated the personal touch of roses on the bed. the next morning, when the weather turned bad, the staff allowed us to extend our stay until it was safe to drive. We were so grateful for their flexibility and hospitality. We can't wait to come back!

    Nothing bad to say 😊.

I stayed at Bru Guesthouse for one night and it was the perfect getaway. The cabin was cozy and had a great layout with a comfortable bed and plenty of power outlets. The view from the big windows was breathtaking and I could even watch TV from the sofa while enjoying the scenery. The self check-in process was convenient and the individual cube cabins added a cool touch. The location was secluded and private, perfect for a relaxing stay. The manager, Iris, was incredibly friendly and helpful, recommending a hidden waterfall that was a hidden gem. I would definitely choose Bru Guesthouse over a 5-star hotel any day.

    I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located in a convenient spot, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay. The self-check-in process is simple and stress-free, allowing for flexibility in arrival time. The surrounding area offers scenic drives and the opportunity to see the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall.

The lack of nearby restaurant options may be inconvenient for those looking for dining options within walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay at Bru Guesthouse! The cabins offer breathtaking views and are positioned perfectly for privacy. The modern bathrooms were practical, and we loved having bathrobes provided. The beds were comfortable, and the room had all the amenities we needed, including a little jar of instant coffee. The contactless check-in was convenient for our road trip. highly recommended for a quaint and comfortable stay.

Loved the Ikea showroom-like cottages with stunning views of the waterfall and glacier. The clean and well-maintained facilities and the brilliant Wi-Fi and TV reception were a plus. The location was perfect for exploring nearby waterfalls. The lock box code provided for check-in made it easy. I highly recommend this unique and cozy retreat in Southern Iceland.

The location of the cottage was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of snow-capped mountains and a beautiful waterfall. It truly felt like being in the middle of a Christmas movie. The staff were incredibly attentive and responsive, even delivering new towels promptly upon request. The cabin itself was well-equipped, with a stocked fridge and all the necessary kitchen utensils. The beds were comfortable and the large windows provided a great view. Check-in and check-out were seamless and hassle-free.

Although the cottage was modern and clean, the shower floor was quite slippery and could be hazardous when wet. A shower mat would have been helpful to prevent accidents.

The value we got for our money was exceptional. The room had the most comfortable beds we've ever experienced, better than any 5-star hotel we've stayed at. The location was perfect, close to attractions yet private and secluded. The staff at Bru Guesthouse were kind and wonderful.

The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be an expanded menu, offering more choices.

We were amazed by the clean and comfortable cottage, with all the modern facilities we needed. The incredible views of the snow-capped mountains and waterfall made it feel like a scene straight out of a Christmas movie. The staff were very attentive and quickly provided us with anything we needed, like fresh towels. The well-stocked kitchen allowed us to enjoy breakfast on the porch, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. The code for the keybox made check-in a breeze, and the property owner was friendly when we returned the key. Definitely our best stay in Iceland!

    Do recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely cabin-type accommodation surrounded by breathtaking views. The full-length windows provided the perfect opportunity to catch a glimpse of the stunning auroras. The cabin was comfortable, and the bed ensured a good night's sleep. The host was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for a memorable and cozy getaway.

Middle of lupin fields, great for views and calmness. Contactless check-in, no time restrictions. Room had everything needed, including instant coffee. Nearby secret waterfall. Comfortable bed and sofa bed available. Attentive and kind owner. Kitchenette with salt, pepper, olive oil, tea, and coffee. Fantastic studio apartment with amazing view. Modern and clever use of space, great shower. Fabulous hostess provided emergency ciabatta. Decent starting point for Golden Circle. Reclusive surroundings.

I had the most incredible stay at a secluded cabin with breathtaking views. The modern and clean interior made me feel right at home. The big windows allowed me to enjoy the scenery while watching TV from the comfy sofa. The cabin was equipped with plenty of power outlets, perfect for charging all my devices. The self-check-in process was convenient, and I appreciated the privacy of the cabins. It was such a peaceful and quiet retreat, with only the sounds of birds to be heard. And the highlight of my stay was witnessing the magical Northern Lights! The communication with the landlord was excellent, making my experience even more comfortable. I highly recommend this unique and tranquil getaway.

While the cabin was cozy, the sleeping arrangement on the foldout sofa was not the most comfortable. Additionally, there was a bit of a challenge finding the cabin as it wasn't well marked, and my GPS led me astray.

We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. The location was remote with beautiful views of a glacier and waterfall. The cabins were quaint and had large windows. The hotel facilities were clean and almost new. The kitchen was well-equipped for a short self-catering stay. The Wi-Fi and TV reception were brilliant. The host, Iris, was lovely and down to earth. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The view from our window was breathtaking. The beds were comfortable and the room was super clean. This was the perfect spot to see the Northern Lights.

    For us, it was ideal.

We stayed at Bru Guesthouse for 4 nights during our trip to Iceland. The cottages had a unique Scandinavian design and felt brand new. The huge plate glass windows provided stunning views of the surrounding nature, including horses grazing in the field. The location was quiet and isolated, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The host was polite and helpful, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. Plus, we could even watch the northern lights from our bed. Will definitely come back!

    100% Recommend this hotel.
